This newsletter aims to provide business leaders, investors and policy makers with insights on the growth of green economy in Ghana, the impacts of climate change, and the role that climate finance can play in the net-zero transition.
The main news for our first briefing of 2022 is a research report titled “Ghana: Roadmap for Resilient Infrastructure in a Changing Climate” which was led by the Ministry of Science, Environment, Technology and Innovation, in partnership with the Global Center on Adaptation. According to the research, climate risks could cost Ghana’s transport sector US$3.9bn by 2050.
