We support the growth and sustainability of early stage green business, by providing capital and technical assistance to enable them execute their growth strategies and achieve their financial and impact aspirations.
Wangara Capital Partners is an impact investment firm currently launching a climate-focused fund in Ghana. This is an evergreen fund with a target fund size of USD10 million.
The fund will invest between USD50,000 to USD500,000 in equity and quasi-equity in SGBs in the missing middle that are engaged in renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management, water management, climate smart agriculture or generally climate friendly businesses. Wangara also supports the growth and sustainability of these SGBs by making available pre-investment and post-investment Technical Assistance Grants to assist their scale and overall ESG impact.
